|Q: Where can I get a LAN cable for my room?|
A: You can find it at the convenient store (GS25) at the second basement (lobby floor) or at the student union building. You can also find places outside in the Sinchon area.
|Q: What is the voltage and type of terminal i..|
A: Voltage in Korea is 220V at 60Hz.
Understand that Nominal voltage is different from Rated voltage. This means that if your computer says on the back 210-240V at 50/60Hz that is just a range of operation. Don¡¯t worry even if you get an adapter that says it works at 250V, those are all ranges of operation, the standard is the same 220V. Normal appliances are normally 110V or 220V if your country operates at 220V then all you need is an adapter, if your country operates at 110V then you need a converter. If you don¡¯t know at what voltage does your electronic devices (camera chargers, computer, speakers, etc.) operate just look at the back of the product and you will find it (normally indicated as ¡°INPUT¡±).
Korea¡¯s electric plug is similar to the so called Euro-Plug. If you which to purchase an adapter before arriving to Korea ask for a ¡°Grounded Euro-Plug¡±. Both adapters and converters are available for purchase in the school supply store at the second basement or student union building.
